Starlink

I seem to remember last year that someone on this forum had successfully set up Starlink in North Cyprus. I would be very interested to hear about this if anybody has information. I was wondering if it was feasible to buy the kit in the UK to bring to Cyprus.

I asked my son in law about this a few months ago but he said it was not available in north cyprus or turkey yet.

If you zoom in on Cyprus, it's currently available south side, says available this side 2024.

This must have pinpoint accuracy given that coastal areas of TRNC and Türkiye are "Coming soon", but inland areas are on the "Wait list".

As far as I can see, I could buy the kit in the UK ( £199 refurbished) and take out a “ Roaming “ contract. This would allow me to use it in North Cyprus. The great thing about Starlink’s contracts is the ability to use one for a month at a time allowing me to use it only while I am in Cyprus.

Assuming in TRNC you would not be in a Coming soon or Wait List area?
