Registering a uk phone

Do you still need to go to lefkoşa. Heard you can do it in girne.

I registered my Canadian phone in Lefkoşa this week. All the places listed on the government website directed me there.

Registration cost 225 TL and duties on an iPhone 12 Max Pro was 4,200 TL, both payable by credit card.
We were there for 30-40 minutes on a Wednesday morning. They have you register it first, then wait again for the duties payment. Got an SMS later that day confirming the registration.
