Can anyone recommend a garage in the Lapta area that will service a Mercedes and do an MOT emission test.

For an MOT test, the car has to be taken to the Police Garage in Girne - behind the main Police Station.

You may get a recommendation for a Garage that will give the vehicle a 'pre-MOT check' after servicing and even possibly take it to the MOT place for you.

You need to pay for the MOT test beforehand, but you can pay online (and also for Road Tax if applicable) here - which saves you going into Girne.

The car has to go to Girne anyway for mot. I live in Karsyaka and drive all the way to edener garage near tims cafe and edener supermarket why ? Because I trust then they speak English they have the correct equipment and are trained to use it.ive been using them for 15 years pricing is reasonable and their fault finding is second to non. You make an appointment they service and check the car and take it for the mot for you. They will also tax it if required meanwhile you can sit in Tims cafe and relax till they call you once finished.

No just take the car there and pay for all of it when you pick it up.
