Hip replacement

has anyone had a recent hip replacement in TRNC? If so, can I ask which hospital, how much did it cost and did you need to provide blood? Also anything else you think I might need to know.

Can't say much other than a professional TC said couple of days ago that she couldn't understand why expats etc pay the money being asked in local private hospitals, when they can go down south with better qualified surgeons and less cost. I personally know this was the case about 8 years ago but I can't quote prices these days.
