Many can, and there are loopholes for those that believe they can't. Won't go through them on an open forum.

Re: Cruise Holidays from Cyprus
On reflection there are no loopholes in this case, sorry. However, you could plan your 90/180 days around taking a cruise from South.
1) Fly in from a trip to UK (for example) , then take cruise out from South to destination then fly back to North.
2) if already within your 90/180 days, enter South from North, depart on cruise, on return fly out from South.
Extra headache I know, you may need transfers by friends or taxis, but it is possible.

Re: Cruise Holidays from Cyprus
Thought that if you came in the south from the UK you had to leave within 90 days. If not then you are an illegal. So got residency for the north but can't fly out from south without a financial penalty. Since that was years ago then it would be huge.not even considering the grief you would get.
Same if you leave via the north and return via the south. Technically since I came into the south and never left then I am still registered as being in the south. Huge fines etc etc.

Had many problems with wife over staying according to South when leaving from Larnaka. Never been fined nor banned. Guess been lucky. I also have issues being a TC without RoC citizenship. I simply argue with them, nothing they can do. Once they "let me off" with 2 weeks entry, told official to keep his 2 weeks, didn't want it. Then gave me 90 days, thanked him but told him we would have problem again next time as I would definately over stay.

BTW, you don't have to book a cruise from Cyprus. I booked through Century Travel last year for a cruise from Taiwan to Singapore. Great service, very professional and saved money by booking through them rather than direct with cruise company.

Re: Cruise Holidays from Cyprus
Yes we can book cruises from Istanbul or Kusadasi or Marmaris. Contact us for more details and we'll be happy to help.
We can book cruises from anywhere in the world. Just mentioning Limassol as many people combine with a UK trip for example. However we are a British owned and operated company so understand the issues with British passports and crossing the border. We're really happy to make other suggestions for destinations both cruise and land wise that don't start from the south. Our website has ideas but everything is tailormade to suit you whether it be Asia, Europe, USA etc.

I am pleased to say we have created a link to our website showing all cruises from Turkish ports that will be easier to get to! Of course there are thousands of other ports around the World that you can cruise from but if you want something close to home take a look!

What happened to Louis Cruise Lines? They sailed from Limassol to Israel and Egypt Friday to Monday. I did this cruise in the 1990s while serving with the UN. A great trip taking in Jerusalem one day and Cairo the Pyramids the next.
