Anyone seen this product in the North or South. I have been getting it brought from UK, but family visits have dried up for now.
This 2 minute porridge is perfect for my wife who is undergoing treatment.

There are 2 varieties of the local one, the packet with blue on (rather than red) is the finer, so quicker cooking of the two. I don't have the packet to give the name/spelling, it's in a container.

I've really tried hard to like the Lifalif (or whatever) and to me it tastes like wood shavings if cooked, would taste like. Disgusting stuff. If something is not in one store, it tends not to be in most of the others. Case of feast or famine.

Thanks BB, now you've put that taste of wood shavings into my head. I thought it was fine, but it's mainly used for making bread or dog treats at the moment. The dog hasn't complained about his tuna treats, loves them.

I went into Sha today and they have the following which I believe might be a good substitute.

Mornflakes
Stone Ground
Oatmeal - Rough, medium and FINE
750gm bags
1750tl a bag.

With the cereals on left hand side as you face the far end.

Just a thought.

Mornflakes are widely available in the UK and have good reviews, a 2 kilo bag is £3 in Sainsbury's though.
