Ho ho ho - He obviously means a TOM at the 'Border' (more correctly called The Green Line)

We went over Tuesday, 1 day only.

I've noticed loads of people calling it boarder, where they get that from, I have no idea. Perhaps it comes up in auto correct and not picked up on? Who knows, but am sure we know what is meant.

Try saying it to a greek official...

I went to a Boarding School but didn't cross a Border to get there.

To all intent and purposes it is a border, different language,laws,money government customs control.taxes and import ,so a borderin all but name

Exactly! That’s why when we cross we say we’re going on holiday abroad!

Two people have managed to get a 12 month TOM according to facebook but it was very very busy so probably in error .
