(Yet another) Border Question

I brought my UK registered car here to give it a well earned holiday so it could see what driving in the sun was all about.
On entering TRNC I was cleared by customs for 30 days (extendable via Lefkosa) and paid for TRNC insurance.
I have fully comp UK insurance which covers me throughout all EU and Schengen countries.
My question is this -
My daughter is due to fly out from Larnaca this Sunday. I believe that my insurance should cover entry into the ROC and will still be within the 30 days TRNC customs and insurance returning back the same day.
Can anyone confirm this?
IF there is going to be an issue then I'll have to fork out £70 for a taxi.

I don,t have the answer but two things to consider if it is OK
1 You would have to obtain a TOM ,only available at Metahan and expires at midnight the day of issue so no car use in ROC between midnight and 8 am the following day.
2 You would have to buy 3rd party ROC insurance .
Something for you to consider.

@13roman58
So, this is a ROC issue with travelling via TRNC? Would I have to have a TOM and extra insurance if I had arrived in the ROC from another EU country - on the ferry from Italy for instance?
Whilst travelling here through France, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria - all EU countries - my UK insurance was valid and not questioned. So why would another EU country enforce extra insurance?
So I suppose the real question is when are the ROC authorities going to grow up and play in the adult world?

We also drove here on UK car. When we entered TRNC we paid TRNC insurance but was allowed to say on UK road tax. Our insurance & road tax is valid in South Cyprus. When we drive over they just wave us through when they see UK number plate.

Interesting..
We're going to try it but have a back up plan in case. I'll place an update here with the result.

Apologies for the late update.....
Drove to TRNC border - passports checked, returned and allowed to continue;
Approached ROC border - passports checked, returned and told to "have a nice day" (well I think that's what he was saying) - no checks made on the car docs or required to to purchase extra TOM/insurance. Hightailed it into Nicosia as quickly as legally possible!!!
Return from Larnaca -
Passports checked by ROC - allowed to proceed.
Approached TRNC border and was surprised that passports were checked but no request to purchase insurance - proceeded without any issue.
So, having fully prepared for issues both ways, all documents filed, in my co-pilot's lap and ready to present upon request, I was a little disappointed that the crossing both ways was as smooth as it was!!
