For those interested, the space station will be overhead at 8.01 for 5 minutes, Guzelyurt towards Türkiye, clouds permitting of course.

Oh hell, there is usually a piece of mountain in the way when anything passes that angle.

Don't forget that there is now the 'solar sail' up there which can also be seen, and the 'starlink' satellite chain.
I believe that there is an app which can be downloaded to find the viewing times for both.

I saw it with a trailing banner 'HELP GET US DOWN FROM HERE' from the two stranded astronauts marooned by a failed Boeing shuttle pod!
