Lefcosia?
I got there 8.15am, they were still having coffee,
2 people before me plus an 'agent' who tried to push in(no chance) out by 9am.
This was for the 5 yr exemption .

Re: immigration opening times
Are appointments required for immigration (to update the certificate after an absence during which the process completed but only a short time was given, not the full two years)?
And where in the building is the office which used to be on the right as you entered from the car park (old waiting room)?
(Asking for a friend!)
Thanks.

Re: immigration opening times
The dept you want does require appointment online .It is located now in the old waiting room.
The room for exemption cert. Is the room opposite no appointment required .
Good luck.

Appointment was made as advised and all went tickety-boo this morning. The residency cert has been updated to show the two year period.
Thanks again 13roman58

Re: immigration opening times
I know two couples lately, both who were dealt with fairly quickly but for different reasons. The couple who asked for five years were refused as they didn't have their full Title Deeds and not parcelised, were in and out really quickly. The second couple asked for five years and it took a little longer but still fairly quickly. , guess what, they have their full title deeds etc.
