Anyone tried to use the Bankamatik machine In Alsancak.

Talking about the one attached to Starlings on the main road. Usually when I use one of three cards, the screens ask what language you require but that didn't happen. Eventually the screen In English said. No action can be carried out with this card, please remove (or words to that effect). I wonder if this is another machine not accepting UK banks.
