Olive pressing price

Is there anyone got up to date information on the prices the olive pressing factories are charging this year, thanks

Soner yes, but how much oil did you get? There is no way to tell from weight going in if that's a reasonable charge if you only got 7 litres from 100 kilos you are paying 100tl per litre. I'm not saying you were diddled but the charges seem hard to compare.

I only had 40kg and got about 4.5 litres of oil. Have 3 other trees but not ready until Nov.

Price definately increased from last year, more than doubled nearly trebled, in GBP equivelent.

Not complaining as price of olive oil in shops have gone through the roof.

Is there a big difference between costs of Hot press and Cold press? Which do people prefer Hot or Cold?

Good question. In past both were same or similar price. I will take my next lot for cold press and let you know.

went yesterday and paid 1000Tl for 17 LTRS of oil. It is 1000TL for anything up to 20LTRs. If you want an approx of how much oil you will get just divide your Olives weight by 5 and that will give you your approx Ltrs of oil.
