On my way back from the Olive press yesterday in Catalkoy I noticed the old Crispy Squid has now changed name to Mr Chippy does anybody know if this is a new chippy opened up, if so anybody been yet and the prices.

It's called Fish and chips, unless renamed very recently.

Sorry, I think Lokmans batter is nothing like it used to be. A few weeks ago it was positively stodgy.

Oh no! So so disappointing if you have travelled, I must admit I would prefer chips than wedges but the fish more than made up for my quirk

Don't let me put you off. We might just have gone on a dodgy evening when the batter wasn't up to scratch or the fat hot enough.

We've been going to Mr Chippy every week since it opened and absolutely love it, great fish and chips, lovely light batter, and great service from a very very nice couple. Was very disappointed when crispy squid closed, but more than happy with their replacement, shall be their customers every week, and hope they get the clientele they deserve

Oh! No they were very much open, I know Sunday they are closed didn't take note of opening hours on door.

Yes informed today now shut Sunday open Tuesday believe hours are from midday until 9pm
