I guess you mean crossing at Metahan? If so then it depends on who you are. Let us deal with a UK National first - vehicle log book that has the owner's name on it, the owners driving license (not a TRNC license) and your UK Passport. Those are for entry to the RoC. If you are not the owner of the vehicle then you need a notarised document showing you are allowed to take the vehicle abroad and giving permission to drive it, probably also need copies of owners passport etc as well. If you are TC then similar documents required but you will be able to get either a one year or if you are lucky a two year TOM (permission to drive in the RoC) document. In any event you will have to obtain at TOM from the office before you can proceed to the insurance office's to pay for your car insurance. Take everything you can think of with you and smile a lot - do not expect a smile in return - and make sure you park your vehicle where the guy in the TOM office can see it as he should inspect it first!!! Good luck and if anyone else has more information I hope they will post it for you also!!

EU passport holders require similar documents as outlined above (log book, EU driving licence, passport). You can then also get a one year (or just lately it seems a two year) TOM.
