I've seen it I think, by the baking stuff (like yeast), in tiny white plastic containers in larger supermarkets. You can't get confused as it's called jelatin. I can't say where as I am vegetarian and don't use it, but have definitely seen it in the past.

Definitely on the baking stuff shelves in Erdener and no doubt other supermarkets. It is the crystal type not the little sheets. In a small pale yellow box called edible gelatine. I use it for pork pies but its fine for deserts too.
