I am looking for a chest of drawers for my bedroom and have searched all the furniture shops on the East side of Girne. Does anyone know of any good bedroom furniture shops on the West side?

Why don't you get one made. There is a furniture maker in Catalkoy along the road from the mosque

I have had a quote for one to be made and it was an extortionate amount

Have you tried the carpenter in the centre of Catalkoy village? He made a lot of bedroom furniture for us and was very reasonable.

No I haven't. Was the quality good? I always worry that you end up with something not quite right when getting it made. Do you know the name of this carpenter as there are several in Catalkoy .

Yes the quality was very good. We took in photos of what we wanted and measurements. He made bedroom and office furniture and a peninsula for the kitchen all to the specifications we gave him. I really can't remember the name of the firm but going from Ozankoy through the crossroads in the middle of Catalkoy village there are a few buildings on the right and then his workshop is up a couple of stone steps opposite the little carpark that's kind of in the middle of the road at the junction of the road going down to the main road.
