Has anyone noticed/received an odd 'duplicate' bill or charge for your Emlak (property charge) - or anything on Paypoint?
I (as a swallow) regularly pay (via Paypoint) my "Su/Water charge" every month, and my Emlak/property charge (in full) once every year - no problem!
Su/water continues OK, but this year I receive TWO identical bills on Paypoint, EACH showing an amount just over 50% on last year - that's OK, but only for one! One "bill" is dated 2025/01 ad the other 2025/02; so what's going on? Is it a problem with Paypoint, Lapte Belediyesi, or something new? (Perhaps I'm trying to pay too soon!).
Comments and opinions gratefully appreciated....

Is it because you can pay in two parts? One by 30th April and the other 30th September.
I think the bill has risen drastically , karsiyaka customers last year 860tl this year 2540tl.

I also noticed those Tax two bills on Paypoint for January and February and have since paid them (not big money).
I assumed that it was some new thing that they'd conjured up. Will be interested to find out.

We live in Alsancak and ours has gone up by a substantial amount. Queried it and the bloke said you didn't pay last year as you were not charged so you now have a two years to pay. Apparently there was a hiccup in their accounts system last year. The pool was mentioned don't know why, as its always been there. This all seems to have something to do with amalgamation of the three towns.

There is a 25% surcharge for pools.

As has already been mentioned, LAÇ Belediye allow you to pay in two tranches - April and September - hence the two invoices on Paypoint. If you want to pay in one go just click against both boxes.

We are Karsiyaka approx 130sqm with 8x4 pool - 2657.80TL
