7-hour power outage
The Turkish Cypriot Electricity Authority announced on Monday, April 7th that a large part of Alsancak, Karaoglu and Lapta region will remain without electricity for 7 hours due to high-voltage electricity grid maintenance work.
According to the information provided by the Turkish Cypriot Electricity Authority of Kyrenia, the power failure will be carried out between 09.00-16.00 hours. The areas that will be affected by the disruption are:
“Alsancak Sahara Site, Hasan Uzun Petrol Zone, Merit Park Hotel, Mountain View Hotel District, Kaya Palazzo Hotel District, Karaoglu Primary School and Karaoglu Telephone Plant Zone, Karaoglanoglu Karavansaray Region, Merit Park Hotel Region, Girneva West of the Ring Road Mountain Direction, Alsancak Lemar and Area, Merit Crystal Cove Hotel and Surroundings, Karaoglanoglu Street West, Starling Market and Mermaid Hotel District, Barehill Hotel, Stickers Beach West, Alsancak Beach, 5.
