Which flour do all you expert bakers use for bread making please.
Want to have go At HOT Cross Buns

For white bread I'm currently using Arun Bread flour.

Be sure to read the label to make sure that you don't buy the Cake flour (self-raising flour) by mistake!

Not tried Hot Cross Buns though.

I usually use Arun too, it's in a green and white packet. If there's a picture of bread on the packet, you'll be fine. The Arun cake (SR) flour is in a blue and white packet.

I usually use strong white bread flour – it helps the dough rise nicely and gives a great texture for hot cross buns.
