Have just been charged 80 sterling, from Larnaca to lapta,?. is this the price now

Looks like it . We were quoted 140 pounds return 10 days or so ago. Driver then asked for a further 100 pounds on the return journey. Told him he quoted 140 originally and that was all he was getting.

At this rate, might be cheaper to buy a secondhand scooter in Larnaca and ride it to Lapta.

What I forgot to say There was one passenger in a 7 seater Merc. How stupid was that. They knew in advance there was only one passenger and yet he turned up in a tinted window monster. Bonkers.

Not when you have hand luggage and a suitcase, we can't all travel light.

From Catalkoy to Larnaca local guy charged £70 or €90 one way - reliable and careful drivers (3 brothers working together). That was in March 2025. Can give number if needed.
