The general consensus is its not possible or likely

I doubt that it will be a good idea to have direct flights from Ercan considering the standard of security there. However direct from the UK would be a good step.

Hi, sorry but what it is inferring to is that if made a Turkish airport then it requires a Turkish gate through which more control over who comes and goes! Only downside is that internal flights means Turkish passport holders can travel without impunity. Good? Not Good? Cyprus???
