Kibkom North Cyprus Forum

I've been having problems accessing Kibkom for a few days now, it's very slow to get the site up and login. Just spotted a couple of comments on another forum saying the same thing, so it's not just me.
Anyone else having the same problems? Is it being investigated?

Problem has been sorted, seems like the site is getting really busy and server needs to be upgraded. Will be looking into acquiring a larger server to deal with the increased traffic.

Great - noticed the difference in last 20 minutes.

I tried l0 mins ago and coudnt get in. Same earlier this evening. Glad it is in hand.

should be o.K. now RR. I wrote to soner earlier in the day to say I could not get into the forum. but all is O.K for me now. Hope it is for you too. And thanks soner for fixing it. I need my daily fix of kibkom!

Problem still there. We have identified that the forum has been under attack. Will keep all informed.

Do you need updates, Soner? Could not get in again a few minutes ago.
Good luck with fixing, hope soon because I tend to read messages and then come back later when I have had a chance to think about them. Now I feel I have o use it while I have got it and may say something silly in haste - OK even sillier then! Also I keeps logging me off.

yes indeed soner. I could bare with you only in the summer time, and even then not too much exposure. But will bear with you in all your strivings re Kibkom!!!!

Still working on it, has been 3 days of hell. But now in process of moving forum to another server so there may still be some down time. Thanks all for BREARING with me.

I know, I am sitting at computer clearing containers that are causing problem. Will not be resolved completely until forum has been moved to another server...which is in the process. Hopefully all sorted by end of today.

I have had no problems so far. Don't let a few 'hiccups' get you down Soner. Or sad 'nitpickers' with nothing better to do than criticise.

Good to see the forum working well again, although it has just taken me a long time to log on.

Is it a problem my end, or is anyone else suffering?

When I try to look at any of the photographs on this site, it tells me that "The selected attachment does not exist anymore."

It's been like this for a few days now.

I just took a lot at the photos, and they are all there. maybe it took a while to move them over.

Oops, and belatedly to Soner, you are absolutely right - the word wot i rote does not exist in the dictionary, cos it was a typo! I now grovel for picking on you.

Problems resolved. So far so good.

Still having problems. Kept saying it couldn't find it, then problem with it, but finally made it, but each section is taking ages to appear. Hopefully will get better soon.

Me too, Stellastar, but I thought it was my co mptuer or cyberspace being unkind. Maybe it is. I am sure it will sort out, but realise it is a bit frustrating.

Hi C-O-A, yes, still prob, will be trying something again tonight at around midnight UK time as site will go down for 5 hours.

Done. Server should not crash now. But still keeping a close eye.
