Has anyone successfully bought anything from this supplier AND had it delivered here in the TRNC?

I emailed Desertcart yesterday morning asking for advice on ordering for delivery to the TRNC, the support line said I would get a response within 24 hours - so far NOTHING! If I ever get a reply I will post here but I do not hold out much hope, sad really as they do advertise many products that are completely unavailable to us in this country.

I'd never heard of them Waddo. Hopefully they will get back to you soon with a positive response.

I have read some of the Trustpilot reviews, I don't think I will be placing an order anytime soon.

NOW - I will email "Shruti" back this morning and explain - once again - that I live in Northern Cyprus and that my mail all comes via Turkey and NOT via the Republic of Cyprus. People do get confused over this and tend to post things with "Cyprus" in the address, that is why lots of stuff goes into the "Missing in the Greek side" box, never to be seen again. The big problem seems to be that there is no North Cyprus in the drop down list of address's that I must select from - I will explain again and see what happens.

It's very typical not to have North Cyprus in drop down list. I came across this yesterday on some website, not awake enough yet to remember which one. Doubt very much that Shruti will have much of a clue.

As "Shruti" based in Dubai then he/she should have a clue but like you say - not much of one - lol. Will try to educate and see what happens, the items I want are actually cheaper in the UK but it is getting them here that is always the problem. The last item I ordered from Lithuania managed to get here but was held up in Istanbul customs for over a month while they tried to get customs duty out of me, refused to pay and told them customs duty was due here in North Cyprus and not in Turkey!! Eventually the sent it on to here where customs duty was not levied on that particular item anyway. Took some time and lots of emails back and forth but won that one in the end - lol.

Don't really want to go through the same hassle again so might just ditch Desertcart and find a "Friend" who is heading this way from the UK!

I notice that SHRUTI continually types Northern Cyprus rather than Turkish Republic off Northern Cyprus, perhaps the NC isn't on her drop down list.

Usually if we are on a dropdown list, it's listed as Cyprus North, or other way round.

Hope you can get someone to help you Waddo.

Given the amount of palm trees on the Island I find it very surprising that almost nobody sell tree climbing spike kits here. I can buy them and the safety equipment to go with them in the UK from Amazon yet how many palm trees are there there - lol? I think the tree cleaning business is a bit like the closed shop of the printers used to be. Even in the RoC they are exceeding scarce which again is odd. The search continues.......
