This isn't for me, but someone asked me and I said don't do it. Advised them to take out TL and change to Sterling at exchange place. Just wondered if anyone knew what is being charged at ATMs these days for Sterling (not using Barclay card at TEB which I know has no charge)?

Expensive, something like 8% I believe !!

Why not change it up at exchange shop. Draw out Lira change it back if it’s a lot they do you a deal at the one at Karacum

I don't think is ALL UK bank cards., First message just mentions Barclays at TEB.

Can't remember what UK bank person used, just know it wasn't Barclays, as I asked as know it's free to withdraw Sterling from TEB with Barclays card. They have some sort of relationship.
Personally, I would be charged if I used my HBoS cards UK end, but I don't use here. I use Revolut, Chase or Starling card to withdraw TL so no charges.

Just Barclays card unfortunately.
