can anyone recommend where the best place to eat at the harbor

Beware at this time of year. Bad trade lots of stuff left my boy came out 2 years ago first night eating at the harbour rest of the week in bed

Peris have opened a resturant on the corner of the harbour opposite tourist information. If its as good as the one upby the Merit it will be excellent.

And pricey!!

Fish is pricey wherever you live these days. But it's very fresh and tasty.

Always told , to check the toilets out first,if they are dirty don’t use the restaurant, bear in mind the kitchen staff use them

You sound just like my old Mother and I follow her example. There are two examples in this area, praised to the hilt, but I won't eat in them.

Never actually eaten in the toilets BUT if I had to I think I would eat at McDonald’s as I have always found them to be clean, everywhere! Then again I have had the odd bad food experience in McDonalds as well. If you have ever had the misfortune to have to use the toilets in most markets I suppose that would put you off shopping there as well? Common sense should dictate where and what you eat anyway - everyone’s experience is different!

Many years ago I had the misfortune to avail myself of the facilities in one of the harbour restaurants. I could have been mistaken but I am sure that I spotted a rat wearing overalls.

Wednesday Market Toilet inside the area through the cafe on the right smell was appalling and needed welly boots the other week..

Yea I did that once. End up finding a quiet corner

poppy++1 - tip for Wednesday Market - always eat first, the chicken doner is the best I have had anywhere! Go to the toilet before the market and try to last till you get home again - lol. Being a guys with a prostate as big as a water melon I find that hard at times but it is worth the effort - lol.
