Arıklı: The government is fulfilling its promises one by one; the Mountain Road Project will begin on August 15
Minister of Public Works and Transportation Erhan Arıklı announced that one of the Üstel Government's most important transportation projects had been inaugurated and the foundation of another had been laid, and that the Mountain Road Project would begin on August 15.

Minister of Public Works and Transport Erhan Arıklı announced on his social media account that an important stage has been reached in the Üstel Government's transportation projects.

In his post, which began with the words, "Yesterday was an important day," Arıklı highlighted two major government projects. He noted that one of these had been officially inaugurated and the groundbreaking of the other, and announced the Mountain Road Project would begin on August 15th.

Arıklı announced that the route between Erülkü Roundabout and Acapulco would be closed to traffic except for heavy vehicles. He also noted that the company that completed the Nicosia Ring Road would continue its work on the Kayalar-Sadrazam road.

At the end of his statement, he said, "This government is fulfilling its promises, one by one. We have said exactly what we said..."

Now, how are the people who live in Arapkoy going to get in and out? Arıklı announced that the route between Erülkü Roundabout and Acapulco would be closed to traffic except for heavy vehicles. - This government is fulfilling its promises, one by one. We have said exactly what we said - I just wonder if they have taken into account the volume of extra traffic that will be on the road between Acapulco and Girne so they can get over the mountains? Not to mention the volume of extra traffic that would normally go over the mountain road and now head out towards Tatlisu to cross over at Gecitkale? It's going to be a fun winter on the coastal roads for the next "unknown" number of months.
No matter how hard the past, you can always begin again.

Indeed waddo.

Of course don't forget they have 'stop-started' on the expansion of the road from acapulco/catalkoy to Girne, similar to the one done at the Lapta end. Of course all at the same time (:Z)( Just wait till the schools are back to add to the mix.

No pain no gain as they say - bit how much pain can we endure (:"()
