I am looking for a good cheap hotel for my son and wife . Somewhere in Kyrenia or surrounding areas. Anyone used one lately. Thanks in advance

Maybe be a bit more specific, are you looking for bed and breakfast, half bord full board, self catering. Do they want facilities, eg a pool?

Worth checking the rooms at The Fez in Catalkoy

I've booked visitors into Sammy's Hotel when they wanted a couple of nights in Girne. Not done it for a long time, but in the past the pricing was reasonable. Absolutely no idea of pricing nowadays, but you could always call and find out.

The guest reviews are also more reliable as only actual guests can leave a review as opposed to booking sites where anybody can leave review...which is open to manipulation

For hotel stayed once in the british hotel .basic but reasonable price great location in girne harbour. I paid direct and it was cheap.

The Paradice By the Cratos avoid staying when Cratos does music .High Life no children and Courtyard I believe

Hey HC why are you scalping Booking.com?

techtrader I haven't been able to book through Booking.com for at least 4 years. I get nearly to the end and then message comes up to say they are sorry that the are no longer able to access bookings from your country. I was told they also blocked potential bookings FROM Turkey as well. Not sure if that's the case any longer.

Manolya hotel in Lapta is around 120€ per room per night including breakfast.

I dont think its booking.com fault my understabing was that they got got sued by the turkish tourism board who where protecting competition against local companies. You can always use a vpn or i just book on hotels.com which seem to have a similar offering.

Thanks for that Reyntj, its handy to know that, after all this time. Back in March we did a deal ourselves with super hotel in old town in Antalya, plus booked a deal with return taxis as well.

The Ruin (look at their web site) I'd recommend it to anyone. You can also see clearly why its called THE RUIN. !!!
