I don't know if its me, but even after having Googled the company I'm still in the dark. Splashed across the front page of Cyprus Today three weeks ago was their grand announcement and signing etc etc etc, re through flights (BS) at 260GP (again BS? ) return, to commence early August with three flights a day from Stanstead (but only as far as Istanbul). Their website tells me nothing, that or the heat has got to me.!! Anyone out there able to shine a light.

Not sure if it's of any help to you but I have recently booked return flights from Stansted to Ercan in September for £170

Think of it as Turkish Airlines no frills division (ie more like Pegasus version)

I have been looking at flights with AJet and it seems that you have to collect bags at Istanbul and recheck them in.

We've just flown Ercan to Stansted with AJet, no need to collect bags but a very boring 4 hrs spent at Sabiha. On the way back it was an Anadolu jet plane. Happy with the flight other than the cold I collected on board!

Forest pixiem you have confirmed what I thought. I used to always fly Anadolu when possible, the staff etc were clearly working their way upwards T.A proper and were lovely. I notice they emphasise 70 minute wait. I think your and my views as to 4 hour wait is much more realistic. I notice it was a change of Company as well, this will probably account for long waits. Not impressed, Apparently dozen of buses and tube trains in London are about to be plastered with the new service.

Just remember whatever they post or however they describe the flight to the TRNC, there are no direct flights to the north, in the way most would understand this i.e flying from point A to point B with no interuptions, layovers, et cetera.

laptawringly, having lived here over 21 years, I'm more than aware of the through flight fiasco. However the papers saying its a through flight service, when it clearly isn't. The photoshop says 70 min hand over, (it clearly isn't) if forestpixie experience is anything to go by, collection of non collection of your own luggage is ambiguous and as to the price...........................well I''ll wait and see, I suspect its all smoke and mirrors.

Our flight Ercan to Stansted return started with a 2 hour layover at Sabiha before flying to Stansted, this flight was then cancelled by AJet and we had the long 4hr layover instead. Luckily on the way back everything was ok but theres no way I'd go for 70 minutes with a baggage reclaim and a check in.

I’ve flown on two leg journeys with 2 completely different airlines & booked my luggage all the way through. Not for a few years though so is this a new thing or just this airline?

EnjoyingTheSun, I honestly don't know , but what I do know is this new Miracle airline that is supposed to fly three trips a day, advertising on London buses, the Tube etc as being Stansted to Ercan and will supposedly encourage half a million or more holiday makers, has got an awful long way to go before I would recommend my UK family to risk it. If you are stopping at Istanbul or a mainland tourist visiting TRNC then I'm sure its great, but UK to TRNC its showing all the reliability of a chocolate tea pot.
