Has anyone got the phone number of the little computer guy shop just before the metro turn coming from Erdener end on the right

That's the one, but be careful if you go and see him. His notice says he closes at 12pm but I've been there at 11.50 and he's closed up for the day.

And ask for the cost first, I was shocked the last repair he did for me.

I'd advise caution using this guy. Used him since he opened with his dad. Started charging in £ only I notice for Brits, but not locals when I've been in the shop.

Please insist he gives you an official receipt for all work done, and in the currency he charged you in.

We had two alleged repairs done, one he charged £370. Got home not working, opened it up and loose wires, clearly the work hadn't been done we were charged for. Took him to the consumer rights office in Lefkosa (Gov office). They called him and he agreed to pay £300 back. Absolutely sure if he wouldn't have refunded if he had no case to answer.

Happy to give this info in a private message if any one wants it. Very helpful lady in this office. HOWEVER, CANNOT ACCEPT A COMPLAINT WITHOUT AN OFFICIAL RECEIPT FROM THE SHOP OR SERVICE PROVIDER.

Did you give him the opportunity to rectify the problem?

MTC, no was a waste of time as it all had to be rebuilt properly. Interesting how many told me of simila issues after our issue. People should just say if they do t have the knowledge or skills to do a job.

Unfortunately not the only person to quote one price then tell you oh sorry £20 more, and yes in sterling and a Brit

I took a tablet to him once as it wasn't holding its charge. He kept it, said come back in an hour. Went back in an hour, no charge, asked to keep it over night. Thats OK, I said. Went back next day, still no charge, Sorry but it needs new battery and he didn't have one but could get one at ???? dollars. Thanked him and left. Went to Computer shop in Girne and bought new tablet for only 500tl more than new battery. However this was three years ago and the Samsung tablet is now more than twice than in 2023

Very surprised to read these comments because I’ve had superb and very cheap work done by him. However I’ve not been there for about 3-4 years. It’s fairly obvious that he’s lost his once good name.

I too am surprised to hear bad reviews, as he really was very good in the past. Not needed to use him for a while though, although will be needing batteries for UPS soon and used to always go there. Does anyone know of any good place(s) Iskele/Famagusta way? Not really because of bad reviews, more as I hate driving Girne direction.
