Where have the Speed Cameras Gone ?

I've just been out and the three local cameras to us (West of Girne) have been taken down. The posts are still there, but the camera has been removed.
Perhaps someone has discovered that the lenses or something inside is worth stealing.

I know, but I do get tired of pointing out that Facebook is just a website, like a lot of other websites, and that all of the Belediyeler post useful information, as does Kibtek & various Ministries etc...
I don't really see the point of cutting yourself off from sources of information - you can create and log on to a Facebook profile without ever revealing anything about yourself & without ever becoming involved in the 'Social Media' chit chat aspect.
So if people really feel so strongly about 'Not being on Facebook' that they would rather remain in ignorance - so be it!
Rant over!

Sorry Keith, I usually find everything you mention very useful but not FBk and other "social media"
and other similar sites - I am registered with FBk. Whatsapp, God knows what else and etc - but I don't know how to find places - look for Heartbeat and -

What does this result mean?
On computer, I can build them, install/MODIFY software (different things to various o/s) but social media? No chance!
I've just tried the link I'd posted, and apparently it can't be opened - does it need me to log in....?

We drove from Ercan airport to Ozankoy last evening at least 5 had been removed.

Like the speed limits and derestriction signs - you have to know where they were or if they are still legible and not hidden by trees - to know where they have been removed from - lol.

Hi jofra - the link that you posted gives the result shown in the attachment below.
There is a link to 'Heartbeat' NCCCT in the centre of the page, which worked fine for me - although I never log out of anything if I can help it, saves logging back in!

At night some have green light, some red. Any ideas?

This is only what I've been told, green means working, red not. Please take this with a liberal dose of salt until we get confirmation from legitimate source. I'll be treating them like they are all working.

Neighbour of mine reported that he saw one being put up by Sengun supermarket (Bahceli) on Esentepe road, and another on main road leading to Tatlisu village a couple of days ago. It's about time they had cameras on the Tatlisu road as it's treated like a race track, and there have been some serious and fatal accidents over past couple of years.

Shall we start with No patience, stupid driving to get there quick, using the phone, running late so inability to gauge distance before pulling out, the list goes on and on and on…… Waiting and politeness on the roads is non excitant. Hope these new camera's catch the reckless individuals
Witnessed yesterday an idiot using the as yet unmade road as a race track to skip traffic from metropole to courtyard in and out the traffic pure stupidity ….. plus creating a dust cloud for others to drive through
