Has anyone bought the braided rope used to seal the log burner door and seal the glass too here in the north - or in the south, for that matter. İf so, from where please? A bird came down our chimney and clawed away at the braided rope. Bird released unharmed.

Akinlar have done it for me twice. It's so much easier to give them the door, and it comes back perfect.

Saves having to buy the rope, glue and getting it on the glass and all over your fingers.
