3 years ago i bought a turkey here .it was like rubber i tried to eat some because it cost a packet but gave up.

The next year i passed.

Last year i thought give it another go..there was only 1 brand i think i bought it in sah mkt.it was awful worse than the one before even i couldnt eat any.

So never again this side.

I was on the greek side and on the spur of the moment i bought a 4kg c26 euro in aphamega.

I cooked it today it was great.

That's terrible the can't even get their national dish right

Must admit Ozanköy Best Butcher again supplied a lovely , cooked first on it's breast, then turned for the last half of cooking.

There's a lot to be said for being vegetarian here. Never had that problem.

Have to say, I agree with snd1966 ozankoy best butcher every time. Only ever buy meats from there. Always perfect, and prepared perfectly. Had fillet mignon steaks which were best ever.... plus of course some turkey legs, smoked gammon, pigs in blankets all so tasty.
