Does anyone know if its time to pay gas permit?

Yes, it is this month when its is due
If you phone (0392) 815 2117 and ask for ext 115 or 124, they wll tell you if they are ready (might save wasted journey into Girne)

The gas permit payments are now in at Girne. We went down and paid ours on Friday. Not surprising it, like all other payments/tax to the government, has increased.

When do you need a gas permit, we have small canister for cooking, main central heating tank has not been used for 18 years.

Sammydavis - i have a 1750 litre tank, mine was 895tl. Our friend has a smaller one (500litre) which was 560tl.
Gripon - you only need a licence for bulk storage, (normally those installed /supplied by the Gas company) small canisters/bottles are not included.
