Have never seen them here. Remember years ago same subject came up, and no one could source any. Perhaps available in the south. I'd definitely have bought one if I'd seen them with cartridges. For a long time, we had no Fruko soda water available, and in fact am struggling to find any at the moment.

No joking but I once saw one on a stall at Lambousa a couple of years back, so you might find one in all sort of places. They don't resemble the old glass ones though do they.

Probably because no availability of gas cartridges BB, and it's not like you can bring them over from UK, banned on planes. We had one as a wedding present, but a newer type (long redundant now), not the old bottle. I think everyone used to have those old glass type ones when I was a child, but they certainly were only for adding a splash to adult drinks.

Oh the days, when you asked the barman for whiskey and soda. now its ice and a splash of horrible Fruko. Mind you, now I don't drink at all I don't have these taxing problems.

Oh BB what nice memories. Never had that splash of soda in an alcoholic drink in a bar, maybe it was still there in my days, just can't remember it.
Fruko soda isn't so bad as long as it's fresh. Not much of an alcohol drinker these days, take my soda straight mainly with a slice of lemon.

I go South to buy canisters. I brought my own machine over with me.
