Good morning,
Please would you know?
Does Water tax come in with the Council tax, or is it billed separately?

Water municipality monthly bill
Immovable property tax yearly can pay April and September or all at once in April

Just got my water/council tax bill and the property tax is on the bill, not a separate one! Hey ho

The water bloke in Alsancak office, told me that from April 2025, they would both be on the same bill. However there was a computer error last year and they were still separate, but not this year onwards. That was the LAC area. Wait and see!!!!

Emlak Var is the Property Tax I assume?
First time I’ve ever seen it on that bill so I assume it’s a new thing?

probably done this way to stop people who buy water credits but don't pay their property taxes...

Paid my LAC 2026 council tax this morning.
Continues to be a separate bill to my water advance purchase (meter with card) and the water standing charge.

I paid two days ago nearly collapsed until I realised that Council Tax for two people from April 2026 for a year, was included with the water. Out of curiosity I went on the web and had a look at Council tax for the house we sold prior to moving here. Absolutely frightening.

Had a pleasant surprise with our property tax. We filled our pool in last summer, and the property tax this year is one third of what it was last year, significant difference. Even though this and the water were on the same bill this month, they still had to be paid separately on the LAC bele website.
