Having read the BRS new email. Can anyone tell me if residency rules have changed for sponsoring a partner?

Our plan this year was for my Mrs ( property owner and 5 year exemption) to sponsor me because I’m only early 50s…….but judging by what I read it said that the new rules will stop this from happening!!

If that’s the case how on earth could I get residency?

Ask the BRS??

If you are on an exemption then you cannot sponsor someone below the age of 60. One or two people slipped through in the early days but they have closed this.
