I have previously used e Sims and they have worked great in north Cyprus.

This time signal keeps coming and going, floating between E and H.

Anyone else had the problem, I have been told that it might be a local issue??

Correct this is the doing of Türkiye, it seems there are only 2 that work one is Vodafone ( or at least that's what my research led me to believe).

Just asked easySim if they are blocked in northern Cyprus and Turkey, they have told me they are NOT blocked!

Bought easySim for North and South Cyprus, 15 days @ 3gb for £7.99. Have used them before when visiting UK and the South with no trouble. Got this one as a friend coming to visit for two weeks!

As far as I can tell YES it is working - although due to my stupidity, I did buy the wrong one as my friend does not get here for 15 days - Doh!! Oh well, looks like I will buy another in two weeks - lol. My own fault, I could have just waited till I needed it before I turned it on but I was curious to know if it worked or not.

I have had my eSIM as my primary data source since yesterday, normal phone, SMS & whatsApp has been working just the same. Have not been South today so don’t know if that works as yet but it has been fine in the past!

I use Easysim and they are not blocked but for the last month or two I no longer get 4G but H+ service which is a lot patchier. We have Lifecell internet and Turkcell give you 10gb data for 1 week for free on the phone registered to the account. When I switch to that I really notice the difference in speed, so easysim may not be blocked but I think it is being choked.

Yes, same, there is something going on that has changed and it might be worth messaging providers to let them know

Before moving here, I changed to Lebara in the UK as I wanted to keep my UK number. I pay 10 pounds for a 15 day roaming package and 5 pounds a month for the UK. That includes 6gb of data, 100 minutes and 100 texts. Worth considering for 25 quid total a month. Plus, you can use your UK allowance in the EU, India and China. It uses the Vodafone network so there's good coverage, especially here

Yea this is what I posted about previously. Never had any issues. You also have to pay to have a UK contract. If you take a 12 month contract, it is 4.50 per month. Or you can PAYG at 5 pound per month. So roughly 25 pounds per month is great value. For anyone that spends time in the UK or EU, it's great

Flip-flop usually means your eSIM is jumping between different network bands because the primary carrier is overloaded or has weak coverage in that specific area. Happened to me in Istanbul last year, tower congestion. Tried a different eSIM provider Maaltalk on my next trip and it locked onto a stronger network. They have multiple carrier agreements, so it handles congestion better.
