So the price at the pump has increased by c 40 % since the start of the war...despite the price falling to just c 10% more than pre war levels..

The powers that be constantly claiming to be bringing in measures to ease inflation...

Claiming a government tax fraud is taking place and that ceiling prices should be updated every wednesday..

I seriously think that this applies to almost everything here now. supermarket prices rise on a virtually daily basis, most of it unwarranted. Just look now at many prices in mainland Turkey, half of here. I hate to say it, but I feel now generally we are being taken advantage of big time. Or to put bluntly, pardon my French. Taking the p--s.

Im in turkey now cherries 100 tl per kg...i saw in the pazar last week in trnc 600 tl....

All the restaurants much more due to trnc having double the minimum wage a policy which is self inflicted inflationary spiral..crucifying the economy with appeasing short term policies.

There is no longer cherry pie in trnc

Seriously contemplating buying a property. Mersin to spend part of the year in...electric is c 25 % of the price..eating out meat etc much cheaper..
