Belediyesi turned up at 8am this morning checking all properties on our site in bahceli one property fined
Who would buy a property with a pool, selling for over three million in the area?

Perhaps the Belediye should build a desalination plant to supply the houses with pools they have allowed to be built in Çatalköy/Esentepe. The previous Mayor banned tanker deliveries once Turkish water became available and positively encouraged residents to use it to fill pools no doubt putting a few delivery drivers of business.

Now some are making up for lost time, charging as much as 3500TL for 2.5 - 3 tonnes compared to 150TL for the same amount from the Belediye and if it's well water then it's not treated.

A neighbour of mine believes we are not getting Turkish water atm as the PH level is off the scale plus I've noticed a lot more scale on taps, etc.

Anyone know of a reasonably priced water tanker supply in the Esentepe area?

Was it actually filling when they arrived or suspected of refilling

Its predominantly the houses that have valves in their blast tanks. But if you have a hose pipe in the pool even if its not on, they will fine you and remove the valve.

Perhaps Car Washing stations should be looked at and unnecessary waste of water.

I messaged the Esentepe Catalkoy Mayor asking why we are getting well water instead of the Turkish water we are paying for.

He confirmed our worst fears, the water from Turkey can not supply enough to satisfy current needs. I didn't bother mentioning the stupidity of allowing the massive building projects.... it beggars belief that anyone has sanctioned the development of thousands of new builds without the water, electricity and other infrastructure being a factored in. Let alone the need for more police, health services, fire services and all the other needs of large communities...

I seem to remember that they offered to supply the south with water after the pipeline was opened so where was that coming from?
