Health/Hospital Insurance (again)

Having winged it for nearly 20 years as a 2x3 month p.a. swallow without health/travel insurance (except for a brief period when insurance was included with residency), I am (like everyone else), getting older and more concerned about falling ill (or over). As a British octogenarian (nearly) with pre-existing medical conditions that wants to spend slightly more than 6 months of the year out of the cold and wet, I am (probably unsurprisingly) having difficulty in obtaining travel insurance in the UK. Observing compatriots in the TRNC, there appears to be quite a few that could be in a similar position to myself.
Advice please on (i) obtaining travel insurance covering private hospital treatment and repatriation from the TRNC for old decrepit visitors;
(ii) obtaining insurance in the TRNC covering private hospital treatment;
(iii) obtaining insurance in the TRNC covering 'treatment' at state hospitals ( I have a 5 year residency exemption)
