same here, went to a local restaurant, I drink van pure non alcoholic, 65 tl in the supermarket was charged 270tl, we were the only people in there all night, they will never learn!

i have said it before:

"the more they inflate the price due to fewer customers the fewer customers they will get, then it starts again"
eventually no customers! bust!!!

After boycotting a local coffee/cake/pastry cafe for some time, I thought Id pop in yesterday. BIG MISTAKE. 11a,m to 12.30 used to be their busiest time during the day. Myself and two others and the most expensive iced latte. The owners wife was explaining they had had to close the attached Mahani (sorry about spelling) that used to be full on Friday, Sat and Sundays, , also close an attached Kebab restaurant during the day. She blamed in on the heat as no one was going out. That may partially be true, but the poor Pakistani chap who was serving was very depressed, as if he could see his future going down the pan. I really hope not, a he and his cohort, work all hour God sends are lovely chaps and have been there for years.

Because of the heat? Yeah right, they are in denial and living in dreamland.

Ileli at it again. Strongbow only been on shelf 4 days and already they have put it up by 10 tl.
Disgraceful as usual by them. Other month it was dreamies cat biscuits. What next.

Just bought some from BestMar Lapta at 70tl each

Bestmar it is then. Will boycott ileli due to the random price rises based on what they can get away with.

Some establishments are even playing silly beggars with small bottles of water. Most expensive last week was 50tl.

That's a real cheek in this weather. Hopefully folk will boycott and go elsewhere.
