So in the local press they announced from the 24.aug.you cant hang round outside & you have to Park 1 hour 50 tl..


I immediately thought yeah well that 50 tl price wont last long

I picked up last night...

They already implemented system...

As i entered car park price said 50 tl...

When i left on flashing board by the pay booth...
Price now 150 tl....

They could have at least waited a week..
So obvious..

Theres only 1 way that price will be going from there...

I saw the press notice - does it mean that you cannot just pick someone up if they are already stood outside waiting for you?

If so, what is the point of having an actual road outside the airport?

No there was police there waving people on..

I did a second pick on saturday the good news i parked in the open air part as last time it took ages to find a space inside .my guest where waiting and we managed to get back to the car in less than 10.minutes and under 15 minutes so it was free

Was there this evening, cars parked everywhere. No police in sight.

I was there to make a pick up at 3am this morning. Having read the info online I parked in the car park and walked up to arrivals thinking well 50tl is not bad. When I got outside arrivals there was coaches, taxis and private cars there no police or zabita. I was parked in the car park for 11 minutes and was charged 150tl on the way out. I asked why it was not 50tl as in they news article and was told we have updated our system. Maybe they can use the extra revenue to get the escalators to the car park repaired.

It was free upto 15 minutes when i went last week
