Services are regular Multimax Internet connections, no limitations beyond that.

The deal is actually valid for the next 7 days, the counter resets everyday to midnight of next day which is a bit misleading.

Just so people know what we are talking about here are the links

Thank you. Can we go to the office in Catalkoy and ask questions before we decide to buy? Or does it have to be at Lefkosa?

@suel5, yes it is preferred that you make your purchase on firsatkibris, if this fails for some reason, please email info@multimaxcyprus.com and we will assist you.

@Deniz1, you are correct, entrance to MM office is up the stairs at the back of the betoffice.

I'm totally confused with this offer ? who are you buying this deal from ? Multimax ? or Firsat Kibris ? I need to offload Nethouse as they have become more or less useless now. can someone explain how I go about getting this offer and what has to be done to get it setup and running ? ?

Many thanks.

OK-so here's how it goes.
As a loyal customer that renewed their contract last week for a year ,and needs no installation gets a worse deal to the tune of about 10%.
Not impressed at all.
This used to go on in the UK until the nationwide building society realised it was better business sense to give existing customers good deals, given that there were no acquisition costs for existing customers-loyalty should mean something!
I have overnight gone from being a very happy (early adopter) multimax customer, to now feeling slightly ripped off and feeling like I am subsidising new customers having just forked out 840TL when I could have disconnected and reconnected as a new customer for TL 714.

You can suspend your service for up to half the contract period. So on a 6 month contract you can suspend the service for up to 3 months (but not longer than that) giving a total service period of up to 9 months, 6 months activated and 3 months suspended. Hope that makes sense.

Hi Philoz

I do work for multimax but I do also feel your critism is a bit unfair.

This offer is open to both existing customers and new users at the same terms. If an existing customer wants to take the offer then the six months of discounted service is added to the end of your existing contract. It is unfortunate that the offer became available just after you renewed for a year but there is no way to make such an offer without that happening to some customers. The point is you can if you want as an existing customer go to the firsatkibris website and sign up for this offer and get exactly the same deal as a new user is being offered, all be it to 'execute' when your current contract expires.

Also I have to take issue with the idea that this used to happen in the UK but no longer does. The UK ISP business is totaly dominated by special sign up offers that only apply to new customers and not to existing ones. Just look at the websites of any of the major Internet providers in the UK - BT, Sky, Virgin and others besides. Every single one of them offers deals that are only available to new users and not existing ones. Just have a looks at

http://www.uswitch.com/broadband/providers/

One final point is that your maths is not quite correct in that this offer is ONLY on the 6 month contract packages. You can not buy two and get 5mbs service for 12 months for TL 714 as you suggest. You can get 6 months for TL 357 but not 12 for TL 714. A fair comparision with the normal 12 month package price you have just renewed at vs a new customer also taking 12 months of service using this deal would be 6 months at the offer price of TL 357 + 6 months at the normal price at TL 480, giving a total price to the new customer of TL 837 for 12 months service vs your cost as an existing customer for 12 months service of TL 840. In reality the only differnce other than the TL 3 then is that the new customer gets to pay in two payments TL 357 now and TL 480 in six months time where as you have had to pay all 12 months up front.

It doesnt actually go the way that you explain, so I will fix all the wrong assumptions you made, and wrong calculations you made and wrong information you gathered...
Philoz wrote:As a loyal customer that renewed their contract last week for a year ,and needs no installation gets a worse deal to the tune of about 10%.
This is wrong information
Philoz wrote:Not impressed at all.
I am sorry to hear that, I hope you change your mind once you realize that you made this decision based on wrong assumptions
Philoz wrote:This used to go on in the UK until the nationwide building society realised it was better business sense to give existing customers good deals, given that there were no acquisition costs for existing customers-loyalty should mean something!
'This used to go on in the UK [and not anymore]' is totally wrong information. go to http://www.virginmedia.com and find out how you can get 6 months free ONLY with NEW signups and not for existing customer. New customer deals are very common in the UK whereas existing customers are kept at check with their binding contracts. On the contrary to what you imply here, it is Multimax who always value and care about customer royalty and so far in almost 2 years of its existence, made a special deal that benefited new customers only.
Philoz wrote:I have overnight gone from being a very happy (early adopter) multimax customer, to now feeling slightly ripped off and feeling like I am subsidising new customers having just forked out 840TL when I could have disconnected and reconnected as a new customer for TL 714.
I again hope that your feelings about us will be restored that you again made wrong assumptions and wrong calculations and here they are:
1. This offer is available for everybody, both for new customers as well as existing customers, you can purchase it and have it added to your package.
2. This campaign is for 6 month packages ONLY.
3. You CANNOT purchase 2 of these packages and use them back to back. you can only get one for the specified campaign price.

Once you rework your calculations and correct your assumptions you will realize that there is no harm done, nobody needs to lose their impression of us, nobody needs to feel ripped off and nobody is subsidizing anyone else's connection.

Funny video, obviously nothing to do with our approach to our customers, so no idea to get from there, except for we will keep doing the fine work we always keep doing.
