If no repair or service work is being done on the car, then "20TL for the first day, 5TL every day thereafter ... but a minimum charge of 100TL" would mean
100 TL for anything up to (but not including) 17 days
105 TL for at least 17 days
110 TL for at least 18 days
etc.
That's how I would interpret the above. Tigatrading, is that how you would see it ?

I get the feeling he meant "maximum charge" not "minimum charge" - it makes a little bit more sense then.

Why would you then waive the charge? Can't work it out myself!

I thought because the company would be receiving far more (than the maximum charge of 100TL)for repairing/servicing the car.
However, clearly we're not the best people to explain Tiga Trading's charges - tigatrading himself needs to do that.

Thank you for opening the discussion on our parking charges.
In essence, as you so rightly interpreted, short term parking does not prove cost feasible unless you are having work e.g. servicing or paintwork, then of course you would be benefiting from our lower charges compared with Ercan airport.
The reason for imposing the 100TL Min:charge is because of the extra expenses incurred in transferring clients to and from Ercan airport, as obviously a driver is employed to complete thse transfers and froma business perspective it does not unfortunately pay to encourage short term occasional parking.
In addition to parking, on numerous occasions other Tiga services are usd by clients and therefore the anomaly of the minimum charge would be waived and only the daily charges introduced.
When considering the disadvantages of short term parking, please also consider the great benefits you could take advantage of by leaving your vehicle with us.
As well as your car being in a safe and secure compound you can rest assured it will be maintained ready for your return to TRNC.

Not wishing to spoil the party here but, a friend of mine used your facility last year. On his return his car had been used whilst at your place, there was hardly any petrol left in the vehicle, he had to try and find a garage in the early hours of the morning, AND you changed his number plates and replaced them with your name on them!!!

This I find difficult to believe. Of course I may be wrong but I have known Ufuk, his family and work force for seven years and this does not fit with their normal mode of operation.

It was discussed at length with you, your company denied all knowledge! He still has the number plates on his car with your company name on them, do I have to take a picture and post it on here?

Look, not trying to say is common practice, it could have been a one off, it was last year, maybe lessons have been learnt since.

Worse still-the poor chap has since had 4 speeding tickets from the Italian police!!
