for those kibKomers who have never met Soner and would like to, then there are three opportunities to either see him, hear him and meet him.

Firstly, he is on the radio at 5p.m. this Wednesday (6th) chatting with Can Gazi. the progrmame can be found on 87.8 or 105fm stereo, or via your computer on Bayrak international. he is chatting baout Kibkom, his book etc, etc.

Secondly, on Monday 11th from noon to 3p.m. he will be at Best Seller Bookshop. karakum for a book sgining and would be delighted to see folk, and give you an opportunity to buy his book and even if you have read it, you can buy as pressies for friends and rellies.

thirdly, on Saturday 9th at 2p.m. he will be on Maggie White's TV show on ADA TV, discussing the news and chatting in general.

and fourthly, he will be appearing on Engin Dervisaga's Vox Pox programme on Bayrak TV - another Saturday programme, but as yet not sure which one, but will keep you posted. However, by then he will have left the country.

so, if your curiosity is getting the better of you, listen in, v iew and meet. He will be delighted particularly to meet you, but will also be thrilled to think he has enough 'fans' to want to hear what he has to say.

Hi BB, sorry about a wasted trip to FF. i DID NOT KNOW HE WAS CLOSED.

and hey everyone I left out an important chance to meet soner and hear him and see him allin one hit. He is hoping to be at the NCCCT Coffee morning on the 12th at Jasmine Court Hotel, where he may well have his books for sale! I hope the Trust don't shoot me down, as this was half discussed, and it was not until Soner arrived late last night that we could give thought to his full timetable.

So unless the committee of the Trust shoot me down in flames (they wouldn't would they, cos they are too nice), come along to the coffee morning as it is a great way to meet people, support a very good charity, and this time meet soner and his lovely wife (who is very shy), Kam. he goes back to U.K the next day until later in the year.

soner will definitely be at the coffee morning and will have books to sell. Ideal present for friends interested in Cyprus history and in particular july 1974.
