Sewing machine repairs?

Does anyone know where I can get my aged ( well 47year old!) Singer sewing machine repaired and serviced?
Ten more seams to go and it's given up the ghost.
Thanks

Try Tektan in town, they are in the road that goes up the side of Iktisatbank, I'm pretty sure they do them.

If you are stuck try asking the lady that runs the material shop at the other end of the stripmall in catalkoy that creditwest is on-she has about 4 sewing machines in her workroom and I am sure she will know where to get them fixed.

Brian thank you for the advice this morning.
Would you believe that when I was chatting to my neighbour this afternoon she said she had a Brother machine that is only nine years old, that she gave to me because she says her eyesight is too poor to use it now.
So I am back stitching a lot sooner than I thought I would be.
Thanks again, lovely to meet you.

Hi good to know you are back sewing, do not use old machine needles in your new machine as they may be diff/spec
Please look at needle type and number as old system needles are not the same.

Will do although I don't need to as the new one has come with all it's extras including a box of needles.
