I attempted to listen to Radio 4 yesterday evening. The connection was frequently broken, displayed in the live box, were a number of figures, after short breaks, the connection was re established.I use the Multimax standard wireless package which almost always shows excellent/very good signal strength.I use Chrome browser, cookies/shockwave established. Anyone have a view on what may be causing the problem (Big storm last night as I'm sure you know)

I am having exactly the same problem since yesterday.
I too am with multimax, about every 5 minutes or so it disconnects and then I have to manually reconnect.
I put it down to the bad weather yesterday but it is still doing it this morning.
I will see how it goes and call multimax if it does not improve today.

Weather itself had little impact on our systems, but the lengthy power cuts that came with in in some areas and causing performance issues in certain parts of Girne.
Due to redundant nature of our systems, many basestations are getting fed by secondary and tertiary links. Although these may not be as good as the primary links, they at least supply some internet to our customers instead of causing a total failure.
Once power is restored, everything will be back to MM standards. Thank you for your understanding.

Through a combination of putting in mobile generators in critical locations, electricity restoring, rerouting some traffic, we are not able to restore normal MM service in most areas.
We still have 3 basestations down (Baspinar, Bellapais and Tatlisu) but others should be operating normally.
It has been difficult last night and this morning to judge the nature of faults due to basestations being down. We have few customers who got affected from the client side, we are now attending those. We have decided to work full day today and also tomorrow in order to fix these problems as quickly as possible.
If you are outside of the above areas, and have issues, please call us and let us know.

deniz, it is probable that your dish was moved during winds yesterday to a point where there is barely any signal. at this point it is possible that the signal is losing its lock on satellite because of this. You most probably need your dish realigned.
