We have a post box at Engomi and usually drive over but my husband's thinking of parking at the Metahan crossing, walking over and back, and then doing a U-turn prior to the passport control. As we can't remember the exact layout of the crossing, we wondered whether this would be possible. Thanks for any help.

There is a car park on the left when you reach the TC check point.

Lots of parking at Metehan but how far do you have to walk to your postbox?

If your post office box is at the PO which is turn left at the Coca Cola factory and then 2nd (or is it first?) on the right than it should take you about 25 mins to walk (depending on your speed of walking of course) Car park is as described above. Plenty of spaces and you can get a half way decent cup of coffee at the little cafe there.

Wow! Quick replies, folks, thanks so much. My husband will be doing the walking and yes, it's the post office near the Coca-Cola factory. He likes walking but I've got some mobility problems so I'll stay at home to look after our pooch. The other one, our big girl, is going in for the snip tomorrow as the vet wanted to wait until she was a bit older when we first took Zoe in.
