Increased cost of flying out of Cyprus back to the UK

Hi,
Does anyone know about a rumour of having to pay 500 euros to fly out of Cyprus?
Specifically Larnaca airport.

Probably the same rumour mill that created the person getting caught with 4 million E in cash!

And heres me thinking that the TRNC was the rumour capital of the world.............the RoC is as bad if not worse it would appear. There is a limit to how much you can take out though (at least according to BBC world)
