Can anyone explain why it costs more for a Kibcom connection if you have a pool.

We are being quoted

Meter Deposit – No pool – 469TL

Meter Deposit – Pool – 674TL

Monthly standing charge - 40TL

I cannot see how it makes any difference.

From what you have quoted, it's the deposit that costs more with a pool. This actually does make sense, since pool pumps eat electricity. The vast majority of our electric bill is usually the pool.

I do not see the difference from experience of our own pool over 5 years I think if you have 3/4 air con units running during the summer they would eat more electric.

Problem is jim, that is it and you have to pay!!! Not a problem for us as we will be on builders electric for ever!!!

I agree with Jim because if a pool uses more electricity you pay for the electricity by usage
not through the extra cost of the meter.
Air conditioning uses lots of electricity this is also paid by usage and you dont have to pay extra for the meter.
